B.A.S.E. Camp
B.A.S.E. Camp is a 21st Century Community Learning Centers program funded throught the Indiana Department of Education. Collaborating with Hamilton Elementary School, Fremont Middle School, Fremont Elementary, Carlin Park Elementary, Hendry Park Elementary, Ryan Park Elementary, Angola Middle School, and the Steuben County Literacy Coalition provides an after school program to over 250 children.
The program components are:
- Homework help
- Effective tutoring and instruction for all skill levels
- Enrichment opportunities such as art, music, theatre, science and math
- Real-world activities that connect to the broader community
- Character development curriculum
We’ve worked hard to develop thoughtful, fun, and accessible activities that will motivate and engage your children to actively participate in B.A.S.E. Camp. Our instructional staff will survey and build on your students’ interests, and connect them to grade-level achievement. For more information, call (260) 665-1414.

Need Before School Care? SCLC will be offering FREE before school care for all MSD of Steuben County students (K-8) and Hamilton Community Schools students for the 2025-2026 school year! Register now to secure your spot. Space is limited.
Before school programming will begin at 6:30 am, Monday-Friday at Angola Middle School for all MSD students (K-8).
Before school programming in Hamilton is available Monday-Friday beginning at 7 am in Hamilton.
Breakfast will be available for students to purchase. MSD students will be bussed to their respective schools at no cost prior to the start of the school day.
